Now the
eWAY signup process is just three easy steps:
- Website and personal details - This sections asks for details regarding your website/solution, personal
details for our records, and details regarding the developer or shopping cart used by the site. This allows us to create
your account and also to forward essential technical information to the developer. Once this first step is completed,
you become a registered eWAY customer and you are issued with an eWAY Customer ID.
- Internet Merchant Facility details - This section requires your merchant banking details. It asks for an Internet Merchant
Facility account for the bank that you wish to use. If you don't yet have an Internet Merchant Facility, you can request that eWAY
refers you to the banks of your selection. Once you have the details for your Internet Merchant Facility you can return at anytime to this process and complete
the signup.
- Billing details and confirmation - This section deals with the billing details for your account. Once these details have been entered, you
will be asked to confirm all the details that eWAY currently has for your account. Once this is done, your account is now active
and you are ready to accept payments on your site.
