Shared Payments

eWAY's Shared Payment Solution allows you to process credit card transactions using eWAY's own secure Shared Payment page. This is the easiest way to link your website to our gateway, requiring only basic programming knowledge. All information is passed using HTTP form posts.

Features & Benefits

  • Order details are entered/generated through your website.
  • The customer is then transferred to eWAY's secure Shared Payment Page, to enter their credit card details.

Process credit cards within hours

  • The payment is processed and the customer is sent back to your website with the result of the transaction.
  • An email receipt of payment notifies you and your customers (if enabled) of all purchases made.
  • A response is also posted back to your website (via a HTTP Form Post), for you to determine the customers next step (ie. Display 'Thank you for your purchase!' or 'Payment unsuccessful - Please try again').
  • No SSL Certificate is required on your site for this solution, as all credit card details are entered on eWAY's secure Payment Page.

  • There are no fees associated with eWAY for using our Shared Payments Solution, apart from your subscription and transaction fees.
  • Normal transaction fees apply to all transactions processed through the Shared Payment Page Solution.
